Malibu Boats started in 1982 in Merced, California, building direct-drive ski boats, and grew into the largest towboat manufacturer in the world, now based in Loudon, Tennessee. The turning point was 2012, when Malibu introduced Surf Gate, the transom-mounted plates that let a boat throw a clean surf wave on either side without shifting ballast. Wakesurfing became the sport, and Malibu became its default boat.

How many hours is a lot for a wake boat?

Is Axis the same as Malibu?
