Information you give us. When you contact a seller, request a boat appraisal, create a listing, or sign up for an account, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your boat or inquiry.

Calls to dealer tracking numbers. Some dealer listings display a US Marine Connection phone number that forwards to the dealer. We log these calls (caller number, time, duration) and, where permitted by law, calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality and to help dealers follow up on inquiries.

Usage data. Like most websites we use cookies and analytics (Google Analytics, Google Ads) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure advertising.

We use your information to run the marketplace: delivering your inquiry to the seller or dealer you chose to contact, producing the appraisal you requested, publishing and managing your listing, sending service emails and text messages related to your activity (for example, appraisal results or interest in your listing), and keeping the site safe from fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

With the seller or dealer you contact. That is the point of the site — your inquiry, including your contact details, goes to the party selling the boat.

With service providers that operate the site on our behalf: hosting and storage (Vercel), email delivery, SMS and call routing (Twilio), payments (Stripe), and analytics (Google). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@usmarineconnection.org. Marketing-style emails include an unsubscribe link; service messages about your own listings and inquiries are sent only while they are active.

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
