Howard Lund built his first aluminum boat in New York Mills, Minnesota in 1948, and the company is still there, still building the boats Upper Midwest anglers trust. A Lund is the walleye boat: deep-V aluminum hulls (the IPS and IPS2 designs), livewells and rod lockers laid out by people who fish, and a build quality that lets a 1990s Lund sell for real money today. Brunswick owns the brand and pairs most boats with Mercury outboards.
