Buyer questions
Eight questions buyers ask about the Yamaha WaveRunners FX Cruiser® HO, answered from the boats listed on US Marine Connection right now.
Right now US Marine Connection has 12 approved, priced FX Cruiser HO listings, with asking prices from $15,699 to $19,499 and a median around $17,599. Those are asking prices, not what anyone actually paid. All 12 come with photos, so you can see condition and color before you call. The spread is fairly tight, which usually reflects the narrow range of model years currently posted.
The listings on US Marine Connection cover model years 2025 through 2027. The sample dealer descriptions we have are all 2025 units described as 3-Passenger in a MINT/PEARL color with stock numbers. Since the range is recent, you are mostly looking at late-model or current-year machines rather than older used skis, so expect condition differences to be small between them.
None of the 12 current listings states an hour figure, so there is no typical number we can quote honestly. What the listings do show is model year (2025 to 2027), asking price, photos, color such as MINT/PEARL, and a stock number. If hours matter to you, ask the seller directly for a reading off the gauge and have them confirm it in writing before you commit.
Since the listings run 2025 to 2027 and none lists hours, start by asking for the hour meter reading and service history. On any personal watercraft, check the hull and pump area for impact damage, look at the intake grate and impeller, inspect the seat and handlebar grips, and run it to confirm cold starting and steady idle. Confirm the stock number and color in the listing match the ski, and verify title and registration paperwork.
The dealer descriptions on US Marine Connection are brief. They identify the ski as a 3-Passenger FX Cruiser HO, give the color, listed as MINT/PEARL on the samples we have, and include a stock number. No other equipment is spelled out in those descriptions, so we will not guess at what is fitted. For anything beyond seating capacity and color, ask the seller to confirm the specific unit's equipment.
The descriptions list it as a 3-Passenger model, which is the main clue the listings give for how you would use it. That seating puts a rider and two passengers aboard, which suits family or friend outings and towing duty where local rules allow a spotter. The listings say nothing about fishing or offshore use, so we cannot speak to those. Match the ski to the water you ride and your passenger count.
All 12 of the current FX Cruiser HO listings on US Marine Connection are in Covina, California, and every one of them includes photos. They are categorized as personal watercraft, with model years 2025 to 2027 and asking prices between $15,699 and $19,499. If you are outside Southern California, that single location is worth factoring into your plans before you go further.
On asking price, the FX Cruiser HO sits in the middle. Its 12 listings run $15,699 to $19,499 with a $17,599 median. The FX Cruiser SVHO has 40 listings from $19,599 to $22,399, median $21,099, in model years 2026 to 2027, so it is the pricier step up. The VX Cruiser with Audio has 29 listings, all 2026, from $12,399 to $14,099 with a $13,899 median, making it the cheaper option here.
