Buyer questions
Eight questions buyers ask about the Sportsman 247 Masters, answered from the boats listed on US Marine Connection right now.
Right now US Marine Connection has three approved, priced 247 Masters listings, and all three are new rather than used. Asking prices run from $126,660 to $133,570, with a median asking price of $132,530. Those are asking prices, not what anyone actually paid. All three carry photos, so you can see the layout before you call. No used, prior-owner examples of this model are listed at the moment.
The current listings fall in the 2026 to 2027 model years, and the dealer descriptions on the three priced boats all specifically describe the 2026 Sportsman 247 Masters. Every one is listed as new. If you want an older boat, there is nothing earlier than 2026 on US Marine Connection for this model today, so the choice is limited to these three current-year boats.
No listing states an hour figure, so there is no typical number to quote here. That is consistent with what the descriptions show: all three 247 Masters on the site are new boats, single outboard, gasoline power, with fiberglass or composite hulls. If hours matter to you, ask the seller directly for the engine reading and any rigging or delivery time before you commit.
Since these are 2026 and 2027 boats described as new, focus on what the listings do not spell out: the exact outboard, propeller, warranty registration and what electronics are rigged. Confirm the beam and LOA match your trailer and lift, since the descriptions list 24 feet LOA and an 8 foot 5 inch beam. Sea trial it on the water you actually fish, and check the fiberglass hull and gelcoat for transit damage.
The descriptions stay fairly general. They list a 24 foot LOA, an 8 foot 5 inch beam, single outboard power, a fiberglass or composite hull and gasoline fuel. The dealer text calls it a premium bay boat built for anglers, with shallow-water capability plus comfort and versatility. Beyond that, no specific deck features are named in the listings, so ask the seller for the full option sheet on the stock number you are looking at.
That is exactly how the listings describe it. The dealer text calls the 247 Masters a premium bay boat engineered for anglers, built for stalking redfish on the flats, fishing coastal bays and venturing nearshore. One Naples listing emphasizes fishing skinny water while still handling open bays and coastal waters. The boats are categorized as center console and bay style, 24 feet with an 8 foot 5 inch beam and a single outboard.
All three current listings are in Southwest Florida: two in Cape Coral, FL and one in Naples, FL. Each has photos and a stock number, so you can match the specific boat when you inquire. There are no listings in other states for this model at the moment, so buyers elsewhere would be looking at a trip to Florida or arranging their own transport.
On asking price, the 247 Masters sits at $126,660 to $133,570 across three listings. The Masters 247 Bay Boat shows seven listings, all 2027, asking $154,629 to $155,728, so it is priced higher. The Open 232 is the budget end with ten listings from 2019 to 2026 asking $64,977 to $118,945, median $102,695, and it is the only one of the three with older model years available.
Answers are written from approved, priced listings on US Marine Connection— asking prices, not sale prices — and from what the dealers' own descriptions say. Figures in the strip above are live; the answers refresh as inventory changes.
